Supplies

  • 7 g of virgin beeswax
  • 3 g of raspberry oil
  • 12 g of wheat sprout oil
  • 7 g of sweet almond oil
  • 6 lip balm containers
  • syringe

The virgin beeswax gives the lip balm the necessary solidity and the marvellous honey scent. Sweet almond oil has a softening effect and it’s full of vitamins. Wheat sprout oil provides vitamin E and elasticity. Raspberry oil is also full of vitamin E and protects the lips especially from the effects of winter temperatures.

How to make the Homemade Beeswax Lip Balm

As always, before you start disinfect all the tools.

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and place the bowl in a water bath until the ingredients melt. Make sure the water doesn’t find its way into the bowl!

Stir the mixture a little and very carefully, you don’t want to stir fast and make bubbles. When everything is melted, switch off the stove and fill the lip balm containers. I find the syringe to be the best tool for this.

When the balm becomes solid, the center will lower and there will be a little hole. With these amounts you’ll be left with a little more to use and you can fill the containers some more to even the lip balm.

Put the finished lip balms in the fridge and your Homemade Beeswax Lip Balm is ready to use!
