Lotion bars are great for travels or just to have in your handbag. Put them in a nice box and you can carry them with you wherever you go.
Supplies
- 3 parts of cocoa butter
- 1 part of shea butter
- 1 part of coconut oil
- 1 part of beeswax
- dried herbs (for example rose, marigold, lavender)
- a bowl to melt the oils and butter
- saucepan
- syringe
- silicon mold
Lotion Bar Recipe
Melt the butter and oils in a water bath. Remove from heat and let it cool down a little.
Using the syringe, fill the silicon mold (I use a mold with small rectangles but you can use also any mold for ice).
While the mixture is still liquid, sprinkle it with the dried herbs. Let the bars solidify outside of the fridge and then place in the fridge for at least one hour.
Remove the bars from the mold carefully and you’re good to go.
